I start with behavior and outcomes, not content or screens. Before designing anything, I partner with SMEs and stakeholders to understand what learners are actually trying to do, where they get stuck, what they avoid, and what drives or blocks progress in real contexts. I use a mix of UX research, stakeholder interviews, and behavioral analysis to map those patterns. From there, I design multi-modal learning flows that directly support those behaviors, rather than simply organizing information. I ensure every piece of content connects to a real-world behavior or decision. The goal is always the same: reduce friction, improve clarity, and design for real behavior change, not just content delivery.

I bridge them by building architectural systems where they don't have to compete. Business goals dictate the why (scalability and ROI). Pedagogy dictates the what (behavioral change and skill retention). UX dictates the how (a frictionless, accessible journey). My role is to build the infrastructure that forces these three elements to work together seamlessly. When you design the system correctly, their metrics align naturally: a frictionless user experience (UX) accelerates skill application (Education), which directly drives measurable organizational growth (Business).

Whether we're building user-facing AI features (like generative learning tools, prompt guardrails, and human-in-the-loop editing flows) or using AI internally to scale team operations, the golden rule is trust. I focus heavily on transparency and control, building patterns and pedagogical standards that make AI-generated outputs feel reliable, accurate, and genuinely useful to the end user.
